Yes, there is a fairly common fault with the rear seat locking mechanism, which is that a tiny return comes adrift. However, what usually happens is that that latch locks closed when the seat it tipped forward and it will not snap back into the upright position. The temptation is to slam it harder, but it's locked and won't budge.

Hello guys While installing my pioneer stereo yesterday to my C4 Picasso i blew the radio 20A fuse. I replaced it but now my remote central locking will not work, the time/date keeps resetting after every ignition and sometimes the wipers turn on when i start the car even though they are in the off position.
I've had my C4 Picasso a few months and I'm very happy with it, but I've started experiencing some issues. About half the time when I try to open the powered tailgate it won't open and instead sounds a long beep. There is a little movement and I can hear the tailgate clunk open but it doesn't lift. This can happen sometimes three or four times
What’s worse though, is that my clock now resets itself after a few minutes and the central locking also seems to stop working when using either of my 2 key fobs. To clarify, the car locks fine remotely with the button on the key, but after a short period of time the key buttons do not function and I have to open the car door manually.
