On this new screen touch the menu bar at the top and scroll down to "GPS Viewer", then tell us what it reports there. It'll be 2 numbers something like 0 / 11 or similar.

Basically, the system does not recognise UK postcodes. If a UK postcode is entered, the system just shows it as being "Offroad" with GPS co-ordinates. No town or street name is shown. The distraction would be massive and it is also illegal plus the police take a very dim view of anyone using this while in motion, same penalty as driving while using your phone I.e 3 points and a £60 fine. The only devices allow to play DVDs while the car is in motion must be located behind the front seats.
