Hello and welcome to my walkthrough for Resident Evil HD Remaster. My first walkthrough for a Resident Evil game but the first time I wrote for a horror game. This is the first time since 2003 that I had wrote for any horror game since I wrote for Silent Hill years ago and felt like it was time to get back into writing for them.
Gotcha! Resident Evil 2 Remake is a LOT better than the remake of 3. It has a spot in my Top 10 best games of all time. It fits your asking criteria perfectly. I've actually never played the Revelations games. I've been meaning to, but I haven't got the time just yet.

For the GC release, I am pretty sure the backgrounds were 640x480. For the remaster, 1920x1440 kind of makes sense because then you have 1:1 scaling at 1920x1080 when you use the crop widescreen mode. I wanna know what the actual backgrounds' resolutions are so I can run the game at exactly that resolution to avoid scaling the backgrounds at
