Our answer: Hi Col, That engine uses a timing belt at the front of the engine and a small timing chain within the engine joining the camshafts only. The belt must be changed at least every 200,000km or 10 years, whichever comes first. Answered by Shane O'Donoghue. 30.04.2019.
